American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Came here with my brother, he wanted to try to fruit like desserts. We came around 30min to closing and thankfully there was still items for sale. We each got a mango and also a banana to share. The mango one was really good, the filling is very yummy ๐ the banana one was not bas as well, the filling tasted like chocolate banana, not bad, still prefer the mango. The coconut looked pretty good, will try that next time!

SALSWEE in New York is an awesome spot! The pastry selection was great, and I was so happy to find everything still in stock when I got there. I ordered the mango sticky rice cake and the mango fruit dessert, and both were absolutely delicious. They were light, refreshing, and perfectly "not too sweet," which I loved. I really appreciated all the Asian-inspired flavors on the menu, too. The inside is super modern with some seating available if you want to hang out. The prices were a bit high, but hey, itโs New Yorkโitโs definitely still worth a try!

Absolutely loved this place! The desserts are as beautiful as they look online, but what impressed me most was the taste. The Pear and Mango desserts were both incredible - light, perfectly balanced, and full of fresh flavor. Every bite felt thoughtfully crafted, not just visually stunning. The presentation is gorgeous, the atmosphere is modern and inviting, and the staff was friendly. Definitely worth visiting if you enjoy unique desserts or are looking for a special treat in NYC. Iโll definitely be back to try more!

Tasty and creative. Everything I've tried here has been excellent. My favorite is the Strawberry Cake, Tiramisu, and the Orange. The Orange has a hard candy-like shell, but the inside is creamy and delicious. It's easy to miss this place on the street, because it's very minimalistic.

Salswee truly elevates the cafe experience with their Japanese-inspired pastries. I love the evolution of their menu, compared to a year ago when it was mostly puff pastries, the new dessert selection is much more impressive. This location def has more seating, though I really wish they would turn up the heat! It was freezing inside, which made it a bit hard to fully relax. What we got: Yuzu (4.25/5): A delicate hint of yuzu; I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet. Mango (4.5/5): My favorite! The fresh mango flavor paired perfectly with the passionfruit
